One of the business arms of the Group is light commercial vehicles.

In September 2017 Piaggio Group and Foton Motor Group (China's largest commercial vehicle manufacturer) signed an agreement for development of Porter NP6 range of four-wheel light commercial vehicles.

The vehicles for European market will be manufactured in the Group’s factory in Pontedera (Pisa).

Designed to excel in the short-range cargo transport segment, Porter NP6 is the only vehicle of its kind that simultaneously guarantees top-notch cargo capacity, reduced dimensions, outstanding agility and eco-friendly engines. Furthermore, Porter NP6 is efficient in performance, but also competitive in terms of both purchase and operating costs.
